Kinvara Stud Breeders of Irish Draughts and Sport Horses. | | Horse of the Year 2010 The schedule is out for HOY please enter early. The Irish classes are split into fillies/mares and geldings/colts in hand and ridden. If we have good entries we can split the classes into age related classes. Please support this ever growing breed section of Horse Of The Year. Please firstly send your entries to GHS and then please could you mail me a copy so that I can start planning the classes. the winner of every class is automatic Champion and goes through to the Supreme Classes. Floating Trophies will be awarded this year and so far three people have offered to donate trophies. The exciting class that we have been incorporated into is the Potential Derby/Hunter Trial horse. This is a great opportunity to show people your Irish Sport Horse doing what he was bred for. I will post the entry forms as soon as they are out. | | Kinvara's Blue Thunder wins Novice dressage at Stoneridge with rider Isabelle Schlunken. Blue's first foal was also born on the weekend of his win. His foal is a beautiful colt with good strong legs and wonderful friendly attitude. | | Natalie Hobday Natalie has lived and ridden in Germany for twelve years. She is under the mentorship of Jonny Hilberath, with whom she runs a successful yard in Germany. Jonny Hilberath is The National Trainer for Germany. Natalie also teaches in the UK and Italy on a regular basis. Natalie comes to South Africa four times a year and so there is continuity in your training. Natalie is able to teach all levels of riders and horses. Many of Natalie's current pupils in South Africa are winning in the dressage arena. Show jumpers and eventers also get much out of the clinics. The clinic is not restricted to advanced riders and horses. The clinic will help you to improve your basic way of riding and improve your horse's rideability , his muscle tone and general willingness to work. Natalie works hand-in-hand with your current instructor to work out the best training solution for you and your horse. With her expert eye and through gaining an understanding of the history of your horse through discussions with your instructor, you are guaranteed a more balanced, | | | | South African eventing rider, Stuart Fitzgerald is competing in Europe. He is currently riding one 3/4 irish draught and one half bred Irish Draught, Classic Diamond Charm and Good Enough. Stuart is competing with best of worlds eventing riders and is holding his own.
